In Virginia, we’re in that funny part of spring where one day it’s 80 degrees, and the next it’s 60. We’re used to it, but this weather really makes for a funky-looking closet! Half of my stuff is from last fall and the other half is from last summer! Anyway, I got this spring pantsuit last year and it has been a staple for the entirety of spring and summer. The pants are long enough for those windy, cooler days, but also thin enough for a hot day!
I have to admit that dresses are still my favorite type of garment for every season, but pantsuits really make dressing up easy, don’t they? All you have to do is add some jewelry if you feel like it, then BAM! You’re an elegant businesswoman. Of course, laying on the rooftop of a museum isn’t the most businesswoman-like thing to do…
By the way, I’m at the Fort Monroe Visitor and Education Center in Hampton, Virginia, where I’ve been doing some research for school. Fort Monroe is one of my favorite places in Coastal Virginia, so hopefully I’ll post an article on it soon (then I’ll finally have something to add to the travel section of the blog!).
My pantsuit is by Love & Piece, and you can view their current spring collection here!
My necklace is by Betsey Johnson and you can view her current jewelry collection here (you can also find her jewelry on sale and Clearance at Dillards)!

Funny enough, my last pantsuit post was also at Fort Monroe! I would love for you to check it out here!
What’s your go-to Spring piece? And what type of shoes do you wear? As you can see, I don’t wear any!😂
